Our club operates channels on the free push to talk app called Zello, which is free to download for all types of devices.  Unlike ham radio, CB, GMRS, and other types of radio services Downloading the app and connecting to the United Radio Club channels doesn't require any kind of expensive equipment or licenses, and since it works over a cellular or Wi-Fi connection it doesn't have distance or range limits,  making it accessible for anyone to use no matter their location.
